VLOG #4 DC Fried Donuts (Trinidad and Tobago)

Who doesn't love a good donut? I'm not sure I know of the many iterations of the donut but here in Trinidad, the most popular type is the baked compared to the fried ones. They are everywhere when you think about it; in coffee shops, pizzerias, convenience stores and even little shops here and there. So you could imagine when I saw the fried donuts being made right infront of me, I just had to document it!

I've taken the liberty making a little video of the process as I thought the machine line was quite intuitive and brilliant. The place is called DC Donuts and is situated just inside of the Movie Towne Cinema entrance on the left. This is in the south area of Trinidad, around San Fernando.

The donut itself wasn't any krispy kreme or anything but was still quite a refreshing difference from the ubiquitous baked donuts. They are much smaller which is nice if you're looking for an excuse to get more than one! Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoyed the video!
