Pineapple in Tempura
I prepare this recipe for those people who love pineapple. It is very easy to make and has few ingredients. It is important that you use a mature pineapple, and very sweet...
Ingredients
- 1 pineapple cut in slices thin or thick
- Mixture 1: 1/2 cup of flour plus 1/2 cup of icing sugar to cover the pineapples
- Mixture 2: tempura
- for the tempura you need 1 1/2 cups of flour
- 1 cup of icing sugar
- 2 tablespoon of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1 beer if you have it, I am using 1 cup of water
- mix very well and rest for 1 hour
Preparation:
- put the pineapples in the mixture 1 to dry the juice
- then put the slice of pineapple in the tempura, let it drain a bit and fry inmediately
- do the same process with all the slices
- serve them with glicing sugar or the balsamic vinegar
For the presentation:
- Use icing sugar
- I am using balsamic vinegar cooked with sugar till it thickens
