Candied Spices - Nutmeg

this time allow me to share snacks from aceh origin made from spices of candied nutmeg, this sweets are made from fruit on which nutmeg is the spice for cooking season in aceh.
this sweater comes from south aceh Lots of home industry in South Aceh district that produce candied nutmeg. Nutmeg is the largest commodity produced from south aceh district. So do not be surprised if you are visiting south aceh, you will find various types of processed from nutmeg.
How to Make Candied Nutmeg
Materials needed
600 grams of nutmeg
2 tablespoons of salt
2 small spoon of whiting
1 kg of sugar
6 liters of water
Sugar enough to sprinkle
How to make
Peel the nutmeg then just take the meat, and sliced shaped like a fan
Soak the nutmeg in 2 liters of water that has been diluted with 2 tablespoons of salt for 1 day. If it has drained
On the second day, soak the nutmeg in 2 liters of water diluted with whiting for 1 day. If already drained and washed clean
On the third day of boil 2 liters of water with sugar until the sugar dissolves. If already soak the nutmeg in the sugar solution for 1 day, then drain
Cook the water of the sugar solution until slightly thickened, then remove and wait until cool
If you have soaked nutmeg in the sugar solution once a day and do this step several times until the sugar water is absorbed
Dry the nutmeg until slightly dry, and sprinkle with sugar until evenly distributed
