4 tipical food in a magic land: Asturias [PHOTOS INSIDE]
In the north of Spain exist a land with an ancient history... but this probably will tell you in another time. Today the thread is FOOD; and yes, we have to say in capital letter because some plates are really big.
1 - Fabada
Well. You need a description? It's a plate of beans, "chorizo" and "morcilla"; and a really astur grandma can prepare this so good that you can eat all the pot
2 - Cabrales cheese
Is a blue cheese from a little town called Cabrales. Have a strong flavor, because of that a lot of meat plates have a cabrales sauce, where the cheese is mixed with milk and/or cream to soft the flavour
3 - Escalopines
Astur veal escalope, with cabrales. Really, I'm starving. Normally they are bigger plates.
4 - The king: CACHOPO
(This one weigh 5 kg or 11,023 lb if you use imperial system)
Astur veal meat with filling, usually cheese and iberian ham but you can fill with you want. Probably it's the most famous plate in the region (and no, we don't use it to cover us when sleep)
BONUS: Sidra
(Yes, it's a regional suit. And yes, when we drink the cider we do this, it's called "escanciar" (verb))
No one knows eat without the cider
Delicious food. I hope one day i could visit it have a nice trip
