I believe, contrary to the name, Rose Apple is neither related to rose or the Apple. However, it is related to guava and its scientific name is Syzygium Jambos. It is primarily used as an ornamental plant more than its health benefits. The drawback of this plant is that it grows and propagates very fast affecting the other plants in the area.
