Keto For A Beginner Diet

Starting a ketogenic diet as my Dr advised that I must reduce carbs, for I have high blood sugar and high cholesterol.

A keto diet basically is a very low carb and high fat diet. It’s aim is to get the body burn fat for energy and not carbohydrates.

There are many apps that assists to plan a keto meal. Since I moved from the city back to the village, I’m just using what I can find locally.

My meal yesterday was fish freshly caught in the sea. Grilled red emperor fillet with salad.

There’s abundance of fish 🐟 in the sea. All it takes is to go fishing 🎣 or diving in the night. We also have abundance of stuff I don’t eat like lobsters🦞 , crabs 🦀, squid 🦑 edible sea shells 🐚 etc in the remote island paradise where I live.
