Simit is a great and sweet-salty street food from Turkey and it goes very well with Turkish tea. If you already have been in Turkey before, you've probably seen Simit seller on the streets.
Ingredients;
250 gr flour
1 cup water
1/4 cup sunflower oil
1/4 cup milk
5 gr instant yeast (1 tsp)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 cup sesame
3 tbsp molasses( pekmez)
First, we should start with making the dough, add 225 gr flour (2 and half cup ) to the big bowl and add 5 gr yeast into the 1 cup filled with water and mix it. After you add the flour to bowl, you need to make some kind of hole in the center like the picture below and then add milk, sunflower oil, the mixture water with yeast,1 tsp solt,1 tsp sugar and then mix it with your hands. When everthing came together, I mean, when it be ready, put that tough in to the bowl or another things for resting
When the tough is ready, we need to divide the tough four equal part, like the picture below,and those 4 part tough need to shaped like some kind of stick and and make it twist pictures below might help how to do that.

We need to prepare the sesame now, put all the sesame in the pan and roast it, you dont need to add oil beacuse sesame is already oily. After that, we need to cover the dough with molasses( pekmez) and then with the sesames. And then finally you can bake it in oven to 220 celsius degrees for 35 minutes.
