Hoisin-Glazed Salmon
Hoisin-Glazed Salmon with a simple 5-ingredient marinade is quick and easy to make for busy weeknights. Moist and tasty on the inside and golden and caramelized on the outside, it’s a delicious meal everyone will love!
Tips on How to Make Hoisin-Glazed Salmon
○ Do not keep the salmon in the marinade for more than 30 minutes as the acids will down the protein and can result in a poor texture.
○ Use a non-reactive bowl such as glass or stainless steel as aluminum materials might react with the acids in the marinade,
○ For food safety, marinate the fish in the refrigerator.
○ Want to add a smoky flavor? You can cook the salmon over hot coals instead of broiling. Grill for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side or fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork and until a thermometer inserted in the thickest part reads 145 F.
Ingredients
● 4 (4 ounces each) salmon fillets
● salt and pepper to taste
● 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
● 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
● 2 tablespoons Sriracha hot chili sauce, optional
● 1 tablespoon sesame oil
● 1 thumb-size ginger, peeled and finely grated
● 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
