Best food to eat in nepal
One day i had a thought- ” Do we have our special Nepali dishes to be proud of “? Most of the nepali foods are said to have come from India or Tibet and other traditions. I started to list some foods that are nepali or most famous food in Nepal and the list went very long. There are best nepali food dishes in kathmandu to try and and many unique food dishes that are attraction to those places. I have just mentioned some popular nepali dishes here. You are free to comment if some item would have exlcuded from list to have given space to another because i wanted to limit it to number nine.
- Mo Mo
Meat or Vegetable Filled Momo (म:म: or मोमो )
MOMO (म:म:) one of Nepal’s most cherished dishes. Momos are bite-size dumplings with a meat or vegetable filling, wrapped in a dough accompanied by spicy dipping sauce.
- Newari set
Newari khaja set is local food of Kathmandu belongs proudly to local Newar people. The food plate consists of meat items like choila, alu tama, types of pickle, beaten rice and many more. This item is suitable for those who can eat spicy food and very hungry.
- Dal bhat in thakali kitchen
Dal Bhat is major Nepali meal which includes steamed rice, cooked vegetables, lentil soup and some additions like pickle, meat etc. The vegetables vary according to seasons. The Thakali people are famous for their spices and ingredients as Thakali restaurants are most famous for dal bhat in nepali cities. The thakali people are tribes of mustang Nepal .

Chukauni is a spicy potato yogurt salad. It is typical Nepali pickle generally prepared and very famous in the western region mainly in Palpa district
- Barmajhiya ko Peda
Peda is a sweet from the Indian subcontinent, usually prepared in thick, semi-soft pieces. The main ingredients are khoa, sugar and traditional flavorings, including cardamom seeds, pistachio nuts and saffron.
