It is cookie day
When cookie is the only answer
“Eat a cookie” those are my mom favorite words when I turn into a monster at 4pm because I’m suffering sugar cravings and I’m not nice girl when my sugar levels are low. That’s why I always try to keep a batch of cookie dough in my fridge. If you are like me, you will like this recipe; because let’s face it, everything is better with a cookie in your mouth.
Basic cookie base dough (120 cookies)
• 1 cup sugar
• 500g butter, softened
• 1 can condensed milk
• 5 cups cake flour
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 1 egg (this is optional, If you what to eat raw cookie dough avoid the egg)
• 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Cream the butter, sugar and the egg until is fluffy. Add condensed milk and vanilla. Stir cake flour and salt and add them in two parts.
You can combine this cookie base with any extra goodie you have. Just choose what type of cookie you want and add those extra ingredients. My top choices are:
Extra goodies
Add 4 cups of chocolate chips, 2 cups chopped walnuts
Add 3 cups chopped almonds, 2 teaspoon almond extract
Add 1 ½ tablespoon lemon zest
Add 3 cups quick cooking oats, 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
After adding the goodies, I separate my cookie batter in small containers and take them to the freezer. When you’re feeling sugar crazy, just defrost and bake at 350 °F 15-20 minutes

esas 2 cucharadas de panela son adicionales, no las uso todo el tiempo sino cuando a esa base de galletas le agrego las gotas de chocolate y las nueces, la panela hace como si le agregaras azúcar morena, pero como sabes aqui en Venezuela eso no se consigue le agrego panela para que queden mas doraditas

Sweetened condensed milk and cake flour are two things that I don't often use in my cookie recipes, I am intrigued and going to give this a try:o)

thanks for your comment, this is the only cookie recipe where I use both ingredients, but it is an easy a quicky way to prepare a basic cookie dought. I always make it with some extra goodies
