Bread inflation in Peru: May, 2021.
I am at times forced to buy local bread, but today I noticed my 1 Sole bag was smaller than usual.
Ok, 1 sole is like 25 cents US and it isn't very much..... but here is a prime example of shrinkflation. Which is just straight-up inflation.
1 sole of bread used to have 5 mini breads and now there are 4.
I have seen this with other items here. I had only been away for 15 months, but the price differences were clear.
