Coffee Cup Size: New cafe lets you pick your cup from menu on models’ breasts
A new coffee shop has become a hot topic of discussion online after photos of a male customer picking his coffee from a menu on a model’s chest circulated online.
Baan Peun Cafe, in the Northeastern province of Sri Saket, just opened Monday, but it has already become the most famous coffee shop on the internet after netizens found out they can choose a latte, cappuccino or Thai tea for THB35 from a model’s chest.
The owner of the Ban Puen Cafe, only identified as John, told Thai Channel 8 he only hired pretties to welcome customers on the cafe’s opening day to get the internet talking, and apparently, it worked.
But can you actually touch the pretties? Nope, you can only point (and obviously take a photo of yourself pointing at them and Instagram it).
“No, customers aren’t allowed to feel the models. They can only point [at the menu],” John said.
John said the models will stand by for a few days, but if his business can still afford having models in the cafe, he’d like to continue hiring them to entertain customers.
The baristas and waiters also wear T-shirts with the menu printed on them. But John said that the oh-so-tight tank tops are just for the pretties.
While some people say the women in tank tops are sexist, John said that a pretty in a tank top is nothing compared to what goes on at the Motor Show.
"It's their opinion. I'm happy that people are paying attention to my cafe. It just means my marketing plan is successful."
Surprisingly, John said most of his customers are normal office people and university students who need their morning coffee.

I am sorry. That is just out and out wrong. Talk about objectifying women. They have literally turned these girls into billboards.
If sex is legal and buying is legal. Why isn't buying sex legal?
If the girls are ok with it, then there is nothing to be sad about. They are models, so they are probably used to being hired for being pretty anyway. Let's not look for problems where they aren't.
On the one hand I agree with you that a woman should be able to make money this way if they want. If this was a piece of art or a photo shoot or runway no problem. These are young women though who have to stand there while men literally point at their chests. It just seems like a line has been crossed.
If I was payed for women pointing at my chest, I would be delighted. I call that not having to work a stressful job. Again, it's their choice. The owner wanted to advertise his coffee shop and he succeeded. I don't think he'll be able to pay pro models for too long anyway.
