How to Make Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream in 20 mins
What you'll need:
1x Ziploc Freezer Bag (Gallon)
1x Ziploc Sandwich Bag (Pint)
Lots of Ice Cubes (i use approx. 3-4 cups)
1 cup half and half or milk- I use 1% milk instead of buying half and half bc im only doing this to avoid going to the store.
1/2 cup Rock salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Step 1:
Measure out and combine the vanilla, sugar, and milk in the pint bag. seal and shake a bit.
Step 2:
Add ice and salt to gallon/freezer bag.
Step 3:
Put smaller bag in bigger bag of ice and salt. seal big bag. both sealed well, so that nothing comes out.
Step 4:
Shake well. It took me approx 12 mins of shaking. A chemical reaction is taking place in the bag that can be rather unpleasant on the skin. I suggest wrapping the bag in a towel.!
Step 5:
Enjoy :) - you can add desired toppings if you like but im lazy and never do.!
