Use a frying pan, preferably non-stick. Moisten the bottom a little with water. Make a vertical cut to the banana. You can put a lid to concentrate the heat, but leave a small space for the steam to escape.

Cook the ripe banana from side to side, 8 minutes or 10, per side. Don't let the water dry. How practical this pan recipe is!
