Our okra harvest is prolific this season, and we are grateful to share our bounty!
We have an abundance of food, and it is our pleasure to share it in person and through recipes and photographs! We deeply honor and respect food. We grow what we can, and we do all of our cooking outdoors over fire. To learn more about our unique relationship with it, please read our previous post.
Okra is an Eden Knight favorite! We enjoy it raw, with hummus, in salads, pickled, stewed, and fried.

Crunchy, hot, salty, yummy OKRA!!
These were one of my favorite dishes I have ever had. I was surprised at how delicious they were even with the high quality of food I am used to.
The sauces also had something to do with that. Gotta love the SAUCE!
These are most excellent! With an endless variety of sauces, they are fully customizable! Some kind of barbecue sauce, or an asian ginger-wasabi, or a nice beer mustard would be fun to try!
Mmmmmmmm So grateful for so much healthy, delicious and sustainable food!
It's great to share the abundance!
What a life!
So much to give thanks for!
Mh... delicious as always @gardenofeden !
Thank you!
crazy, I never thought of frying the whole thing. Wow, that is so much easier than the 'traditional' way. Oh, and I love the title 'Food Formula.' I wish I'd thought of that first. As always, love your posts - Steem ON!😜
Thank you! The whole okra was still tender and delicious and FUN!
Just love okra and these are special!
Okra is a favorite here for sure!
Okra is not a vegetable I am familiar with, perhaps a post about the plant and its cultivation, preparation and more recipes
Thanks for the suggestion! It's very easy to grow and super delicious and healthy. Our okra plants are controversial; the government sent very ignorant spies to our property who mistook them for marijuana, so they sent a fully armed SWAT raid to terrorize our people for gardening.
At least we're not boring
