Honest Reviews: HonesT Pomegranate Red Herbal Tea
Because we are a not-for-profit organization that feeds 40,000 free meals a year, clothes hundreds, and educates hundreds of thousands, we get donations from many various organizations to help support our truly world changing cause.
This post is a review of an organic tea of which we received a few bottles, which would have otherwise been in the trash. Of course we live according to our sustainable standards, and we did not buy this from a store, otherwise we would be contributing to the consumeristic rape and destruction of the planet which is involved in EVERY product sold at a store.
We also of course do not judge anyone who buys things from a store (which is almost everyone), as it is the only way most people know how to exist. All we try to do is educate and set an example of the way life could be!
Obviously we received this from a store, and it was manufactured, packaged, shipped, taxed, and then WASTED. It was wasted because it was not sold before the expiration date. Of course it was still at least a year - if not many years - from ACTUALLY going bad. However, by the capitalist consumer laws it must be thrown way by a certain day.
This store gives us their "trash" as a "donation" ONLY because we solicit them and ask them to donate to our cause, as we are a not-for-profit organization that is helping so many people - otherwise it WOULD BE TRASH.
With that being said, we are very grateful that we are able to receive these donations and put them to good use. Not only can we share and enjoy them while SAVING them, we are also able to help YOU by giving you the INSIDE scoop on the quality of this product!
If you are going to buy something, then it better be worth it! Not everything is created equal, and we are here to let you know what the experiential truth is of each product we review in an honest and unbiased way.
We are not paid or in any way influenced to give a review besides something that is honest, based on our actual experience, and with a lot of experience of high quality goods too.
As you can see this is a "fair trade" and "organic" beverage, which as far as consumer products go is "quality". It also has no "artificial" ingredients which also makes it "better".
It does taste quite nice and actually feels a bit like a caffeine buzz even though it has no caffeine. So as for a tea of this description goes, we would list it as a 9 out of 10. The only thing it could improve upon is sustainability which is virtually impossible based on the paradigm it has to go through.
We hope you benefit by this "Honest Review" and also to inspire you to higher rand higher levels of sustainability!

I like both the thoroughness of your review AND, the lovely background in which you placed the bottle. Very nice presentation. It made me think you liked it, even before I read a word of your review.
The most insane part of this system is that companies can just dump this food and then call it a “loss”.
My favorite paragraph: “As you can see this is a "fair trade" and "organic" beverage, which as far as consumer products go is "quality". It also has no "artificial" ingredients which also makes it "better".”
40% of the food produced in the US ends up in the garbage, yet there are people going hungry in this country. It's absurd!!
Yes there are so many labels that consumers are willing to pay more for, but quality is of course subjective. To us, sustainability is king - and "fair trade" does not necessarily equate to sustainable! Driving to the store, shopping under fluorescent lights, and paying taxes and all for a product that is flown halfway across the world vs. picking herbs from your own backyard to make a nice pot of tea are drastically different experiences with vastly different consequences to the entire planet.
It looks like a nice product.
And by the way, you do not get food from stores
No we do not buy food from stores.
very true the expired products have a year left, due to laws issues in the stores should be thrown away but we can keep them at home
Exactly! The food is still perfectly good, but regulation says a store can't sell it past the date printed on the package, so it usually ends up in the trash to pollute our Earth.
To maintain our body properly we need various kind of food .We have to provide each kind of vitamin minarel by food.So make a good list of food is important.
