Kitchen diary [01] #Hugot edition

Like other very independent Steemians, I would like to prove my mom that though our caretaker extended it's day off today, I can still manage everything at home particularly food to eat! :P

Tadah!!
Me: Veggie! So, it's healthy! :)
Mom: Spam is not a healthy food, inorganic.
Me: That's what you call, Balance! :P

INGREDIENTS

1 teaspoon garlic
Pinch of Salt
1/4 cabbage
3 pcs. baguio beans
1/4 cauliflower
1/2 Teaspoon Oli/butter

PROCEDURE

• Prepare

1. Have every thing you need within reach. (LDR is hard and very challenging).
2. Wash vegetables very gently (You know how painful it is to be treated harshly).

• Fry Spam

1. Heat pan (Perhaps as hot as your last heated argument/debate).
2. Put a little amount of oil/butter and gently place spam for a couple of seconds or a minute or maybe two? (You decide, It's your life after all).
3. Transfer to a plate with clean tissue paper (Save some, you may need it for your tears).
4. Set aside (The same way that person set-you-aside. OUCH!)

• Saute Veggies

1. Combile cabbage, cauliflower and baguio beans in a pot with butter. (It's easier than to think and combine possible reasons why he left).
2. Put a pinch of salt and pepper to taste (So you thought you have good taste? What now?).

-SERVE

1. Put spams and all the vegetables together in a plate.(Yes, accept that they are together now)
2. Best serve with steamed rice!(Just in case you're longing for something steamy).

Some prefer to add seasoning mix, I do not suggest. But if you're impusive- make sure to put just a little. (As little as the love and effort that person gave you)

What is hugot?

Answer: The term “hugot” is a Filipino word which means to draw or to pull out. The usage of the hashtag “hugot” became popular not so long ago and is usually used along with song lyrics, a quote, etc. that the person tweeting relates to; “hugot” means the accompanying words draw emotions out of him/her.

Hugot. Usually words with potentially and personally deep sentimental or emotional undertones. Because feelings come from "deep within" so you have had to "hugot" your emotions first "from deep within" before you would've actually blurted them out in somehow emotionally undertoned words — subconsciously or otherwise.
Hugot: “Don’t let anyone ever make you feel like you don’t deserve what you want."

By the way, I don't have a name for this dish. My gut feeling and I just made it. If this really exists, please educate me with the name of its dish on the comment section, please!

One thing you should know about me is that I'm extremely bad at giving titles. I spend hours struggling. See my previous poem posts? All @originalworks came to me just SNAP* like that! For titles? I place one because I was forced to have one. I'm suck at titles! (Maybe that is why my relationship doesn't have a label)
