Kuah teucrah or often called sauce tumeh (stir-fry) is a type of fish curry typical of Aceh. Named stir-fry sauces because this dish first stir-fried new seasoned water added. Like other typical Aceh cuisine, this teucrah soup is rich in spices. In addition to spicy, this dish can add taste because it tastes delicious.

In Aceh, this teucrah soup can be fish, squid, shrimp, oysters, and some even add bean sprouts.


Here are the ingredients and how to mix them:
Ingredients :

  • 1 tuna fish
  • 5 pieces of dried red pepper (may be fresh chili)
  • 10 pieces of cayenne pepper
  • 1 segment of turmeric
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 3 pieces of red onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 4 pieces of sunti acid
  • 1 teetyui leaf (curry leaf)
  • 1 sheet of pandan leaves
  • ½ lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 large glasses of water
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil

How to make :

  • Soak dried red pepper, then puree with a ground stone or blender.
  • Clean and cut the tuna into several parts.
  • Put the fish into the container and give the lime juice and salt.
  • Blend simultaneously cayenne pepper, turmeric, cilantro, and sunti acid.
  • Spices that have been smoothed into the fish.
  • Rajang onion and garlic.
  • Give the oil into the pan and heat, then sauteed onion and white, curry leaves, and pandan leaves are knotted.
  • Once fragrant, put the flavored fish, then add water.
  • Wait until boiling, then lift, serve.
