HOW TO MAKE SPRING ROLLS
Spring rolls is one of the finest and popular meal both in China and other countries. It is snack that can be served in different events depending what the events is all about. Here in Nigeria spring rolls has taken the order of the menu at birthday parties, wedding ceremonies and mini parties.
Spring rolls is an Asian food and it is popular in every restaurant in China.
Ingredients for spring rolls
Glass noodles, (it can be replaced with beef, and chicken)
White cabbage
Garlic
Soy sauce
Oil for frying
Carrot
Sesame oil
Spring rolls wraps or pasty
Beans sprout
Steps
- If you have the noodles, the noodles has to be first prepared. Likewise, if you are going for beef or chicken, they have to be prepared first.
- Grate, and slice your carrot, cabbage and garlic into small pieces
- Then mix the carrot, garlic, bean sprout, cabbage and sesame oil together.
- When your noodles is done, drain them with sieve, and cut into smaller pieces too.
b. If it is chicken or beef, chop them into small sizes - After cutting, add them to the mixture (No 3)
- Season the mixture with pepper, soy sauce, sugar and salt to taste.
- Place the spring roll on the table, and spread the mixture into it. While spreading, fill them into the middle or the spring roll.
- Fill the sides in an envelope way, roll up.
- Fry the rolls in a hot oil, until it is golden brown.
