Do you know how pineapples grow?

If not, check out this beautiful plant. Pineapples can take up to 24 months to grow fruit, yet eating it takes just a few minutes. Take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this amazing tropical plant. If you've never seen how a pineapple grows, you're welcome =)

You can easily grow pineapple in your home, even inside in a pot. All you have to do is save the top of your pineapple, and put it in water until it grows roots (check picture below).

Then you simply put it in some soil, et voilà!

Now be (very) patient!

Oh my God, I was just in a conversation about growing pineapples and voila!

Also I have a new vitamix. It's very exciting.

hey girl, long time no see =) I hope everything is well? I love pineapple plants, they are so pretty. They just take so long to grow . I need to get one of those fancy food processors, but here in Bocas they're impossible to find...I'll have to wait for my next trip =)

I just got back from Florida. I bought it there. I think you can get them in PTY but they are more expensive. I brought it in in my luggage and it was fine.

Pineapple plants are really nice looking in pots or in outside gardens and even better you can just plant them from the top of a pineapple that you bought from the store and reuse it to grow a whole new plant.

yes, that's what I'm doing =) Thanks for your comment!

That's my favorite fruit, when I was a kid I had the perception that pineapple grows in it root, hmmmm, yummy fruit.

Great, now you know how it grows =) thanks for your comment!
