Healthy recipe: Grilled turkey with mashed potatoes
hello to all friends of steem, today I bring you an exquisite healthy recipe and easy to prepare
The kitchen is so versatile and allows so many variations and imagination when preparing the dishes, that with almost the same ingredients we can prepare healthier or more caloric dishes.
Like today's recipe, grilled turkey with mashed potatoes. Instead of batter the turkey fillets and fry them and also accompany them with French fries, this recipe chooses a simple, easy and very healthy dish.
But not with less flavor, because fresh thyme is used to flavor turkey fillets. In addition, when served together with the mashed potatoes, the recipe gains in softness and textures.
INGREDIENTS
- 400 g of potatoes
- 300 ml of milk
- 4 turkey fillets
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablet of Avecrem Chicken Broth
- Nutmeg
- Pepper
- Thyme
Step 1 Wash and cook the potatoes in plenty of salted water. Once cooked, let cool and then peel.
Step 2 In a pot add 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, add the potatoes passed through the masher. Add pepper and a pinch of nutmeg; mix with a whisk and then slowly add the milk and cook over low heat for 5-6 minutes, stirring frequently.
Step 3 Cook the turkey fillets, add salt and arrange in a dish. Garnish with thyme and serve with the puree.

The trick: remove turkey fat
Although turkey is a meat less fat than chicken, it usually has some more fatty parts that should be removed before cooking. Once we have cooked the steaks, the fat will no longer be so visible.
