Chinese Family Dinner
I want to share tonight's dinner with you!
We have one famous Chinese dish which I think is worth sharing : Braised Pork with Preserved Vegetable in Soy Sauce.
As you can see in the picture, we use pork with fat instead of using lean pork. You must say this in your mind: "Ew! So fat! How could you swallow those fat!! "
Yes, you are right! It will be heavy and disgusting if you don't cook this dish well.
However, if you cook this dish in perfect timing and perfect temperature, the fat would be so creamy, and melt in your mouth immediately. Chinese people LOVE this dish! You can usually workout after eaten this... Hehehe!
And I want to share another dish in our dinner tonight with you, it is easy, quick and delicious!
I called it Chinese Lemon Chicken Wings, I saw this recipe on one of the Hong Kong TV Programs and improved it into my own recipe.
"Everything One" Lemon Chicken Wings Recipe:
Ingredients:
Part 1:
1 Table Spoon of Oil (Optional: Sesame oil for more flavor)
1 Lemon
1 Onion
1 Ginger
Part 2:
1 Pound of Chicken Wings
Part 3:
1 Cup of Soy Sauce
1 Table sugar of Sugar
Marinade ingredients:
1 Table Spoon of Salt
1 Table Soon of Black Pepper
How to Cook?
- Marinade the Chicken with the Marinafe ingredients for an hour or more.
- In a large saute pan over medium-high heat, add Part 1 ingredients.
- After the onion become transparent, put in the chicken wings.
- When the chicken wings become golden brown, add ingredients Part 3.
- Keep stiring because the sugar can stick to the pan easily, when all the wings are coated with the sauce, they are ready to serve!
