Kuah Plik Typical Food Region of Aceh
Pareek is a typical food of Aceh. This sauce pliek already exist in the days of ancestors ancient mala. This plik quik was first discovered by a woman who at this time Indonesia is still colonized by the Dutch. At that time the people of Aceh who fought to escort the Dutch were huddled in a mountain, they at that time did not have food supplies. But a woman take advantage of the existing plants around it. He picked the sweet potatoes, beans, papaya and other consumable plants. Then he used the old head and then squeezed into a coconut milk. From there initially discovery of the pliek sauce.
But in the 21st century this process of making this sauce pliek much changed. Everybody mixes the other vegetables into the pliek sauce.
My mother much to make this pliek sauce with style and fariasinya itself like jengkol and banana mixed kedalmnya. Meskipum so characteristic of the taste of this pliek sauce is still the same and nothing has changed just add some other food.
The following is the result of my mother's homemade sauce
