Typical food Margariteña. Flavors of the sea
Living on an island we take advantage of everything the sea gives us. And some of the typical foods are pasta a la marinera, which is with several seafood.
Another of the most typical dishes is the Pastel de Chucho. Which is made with fish, potatoes, banana and egg.
And if you come to the Margarita island and do not eat a fried fish with salad on the shore of the beach, it's like not having come to the island.
And finally a rich sweet of lechoza or elsewhere is known as papaya

The foods look delicious. A funny story. When I lived in Guatemala the word "chucho" meant dog. I am assuming that in Venezuela that does not mean the same thing?
The first picture of the pasta with the red sauce looks absolutely scrumptious. Nice photos.
And that papaya dessert looks incredible!
No here in Venezuela the word "chucho" is for a type of fhis. Yes all the food is so good.
