Once again.here I am to teach you another recipe.,a kind of Filipino food and at the same time the most important food in breaking the fast during Ramadam season .Learning in so many instances in life whether its for cooking or else unless you are so interested, there will be an easy understanding to coup up and apply it to our life.
Before anything else.I just want to give more information related to the word fasting during Ramadan .I learned a lot in cooking since I came here and observed what food they love most.Fasting during Ramadan is the time when they eat and drink their breakfast after the sunset..Then at dawn before the sun rises .they will eat their another set of heavy foods.
These empanada "sambosa in Arabic"is the basic food everyday when fasting.Credit to my best friend an Indonesian who taught me the secret of making the dough. The filling is so simple and it is base on your own taste..It might be a beef or chicken even cheddar cheese, you can fill it .
Long before back 1998,most household worker here were from Indonesia. They had only the lowest rate of salary compared to Filipino.Among 8 Indonesian women I was alone a Filipina. One of those Indonesian loved me and taught me everything in cooking. So sad on that time she got pregnant and she went home.Until now I didn't hear about her life.I am narrating this topic because without her,my life was in misery. She was the one who lead me in my way keep the most on how to understand the language.Indonesia Filipino to Arabic. She told me that she never taught anyone her secret in cooking but when she knew me she loves me more than her fellow Indonesian..She was SUMIATE MY EMPANADA TEACHER..
