Have you seen a place where all your dreams come true? Bhopal witnessed such a thing not for one, not for two but for three consecutive days, that is 26th,27th,28th of January 2018. The Bhopal Food Festival, which was the realisation of the love for food that two foodies held.Dr. Nida Raheman started a food group on Facebook and soon so many joined it that it turned into a food Festival.

The fun filled event was divided into a three-day event encompassing all kinds of food cuisines. Be it South Indian, Italian, Desi or even experimental. There was a total of 35 stalls decorated with a spirit unparalleled. People flocked from all parts of the city to celebrate the perfect blend of food and culture. The most striking feature was the fact that the organizers didn’t limit the concept to just the art of food but also called in musical bands, dancers, Zumba performers. This kept the audience engaged and content.

The dancers came from a town of Harda with a twist of only dancing on Kabir ke Dohes, thus the name Kabeera Group. And when it came to music, well oh well, it was a different ball game altogether. The Indie Band with the setting sun enraptured the hearts of people deliciously munching on the delicacies present there.

The stalls had some prominent names like The Sauce Story famous for its fries, The Milkshake Kulture, Andhra Mirchi, Riwayat, Al Beik, Cowboy, various home chefs who at some point even out did the commercial joints.
The day started with a bang and ended with even a louder one. The footfall was outrageously well and thrilling. The air was filled with a whimsical tone where everyone felt like family. One just had to be there to know what a thing Bhopal Food Festival was.
