Food and Health Awareness | Corn having different Health Benefits
Hey folks @cryptokraze here with my new Blog about Food and Health awareness in which I will highlight the health benefits associated with Corn. We should add variety of foods in our diet because they have bio-active components in them that help in preventing many diseases and provide other health benefits.
Corn delivers many health benefits because of the quality of nutrition. In addition to being delightful adding to any food, it is rich in phytochemicals and provides protection against a number of chronic diseases.
Prevents Hemorrhoids
A cup of corn has a fiber content of 18.4% of the daily recommended amount. It helps to alleviate digestive problems such as acne, constipation and reduces the risk of corn particles causing colon cancer.
Weight Gain
Corn deliver more than enough calories and is a chief food in many places. Corn provides 342 calories per 100 grams, counting the highest energy provider in cereals. This is why it is frequently used to rapidly surge mass, and combined with the flexibility and ease of corn growing conditions, high energy content makes it the vital element to existence in dozens of agricultural countries.
Protects Your Heart
Agreeing to investigators, corn oil has been revealed to have antiatherosclerotic effects on cholesterol levels, thereby reducing the risk of various cardiac diseases. In particular, corn oil is the best way to improve circulatory health because corn is the best mixture of fatty acids. This allows omega-3 fatty acids to remove dangerous low-density lipoprotein (bad cholesterol) and replace it at the required site. This will reduce arterial blockages, lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart attacks and heart attacks.
Prevents Anemia
Corn helps avert anemia that is triggered by vitamin shortage or absence. It also holds significant levels of iron, one of the vital minerals needed to form fresh red blood cells; iron lack is also one of the main causes of anemia.
I didn’t know corn had so many health benefits. So many diets ban corn as it is pure starch and full of sugar. Native Americans who ate corn as a staple had rotting teeth and stunted growth. Eaten in moderation and in its highest quality is best.
In my childhood we used to eat it by burning. It so tasty and healthy. Thanks for reminding my adolescence.
I love Corn very well but the boiled one though because the roasted one comes hard to me when I eat it.
However, I think the iron content of corn is very low to have very significant effect in preventing anemia.Corn has .75mg of iron which is very low when it comes to the RDA for a teenager(11mg) and an adult (18mg).
But that doesn't neglect its contributory effect in our diets
Corn is beneficial for our health, I did not know ago. We got lots of corn here. But we did not know that it is so useful for health.Thank @cryptokraze very much for giving such important information.
