HOW TO PREPARE BAMBARA BEAN (AN AFRICAN DISH)
Barbara bean popularly found in northern part of Nigeria is a hard nut, it is grinded to powdered form, then after grinding, it is been sieved in other to remove the hard skin, then the powder(flour) is what is been prepared.
INGREDIENTS
palm nut
Onion
pepper
seasoning
salt
METHOD OF PREPARATION
Cook the palm nut itself for about 30 to 40 minutes, then pound and add warm water mixing them together, then remove the fibre and the but leaving the liquid.
Put the bambara flour in a bowl, add the liquid extracted from the palm nut, stir gradually, add the above ingredients, stir until it forms a gel then put in a small tight container as many as you wish.
put the containers inside the pot and add a small quantity of water to the pot, then cool for about 30 minutes taking note of the water in the pot. Add water gradually to the pot
Your delicious meal is ready.... Enjoy when served with Quaker oat.
