✅🌱 Vegan Cheeses- Cashew and Walnuts
Normally extreme healthy vegan, tonight I just needed a bit of vegan comfort food and tried these new vegan cheeses!
It is better to make a cheese than to buy it.
Vegan cheese home made !!
✅🌱 Cashew Cheese - Vegan
Ingredients:
200 g of cashew nuts
10 g of flake beer yeast
2 tablespoons of untreated lemon juice
2 tablespoons of soy milk
10 g of sesame seeds
Preparation:
soak the cashews overnight: in this way, they will soften and lose the excess salt.
After 8 hours, drain the cashews from the soaking water and put them in the container of a blender.
Add a couple of tablespoons of soy milk, sesame seeds, lemon juice and flake beer yeast.
Blend everything until obtaining a soft consistency(if the cream is dry add milk).
Pour the cheese veg into a silicone or ceramic mold leveling and pressing the surface.
Spill the veg-cheese on a plate and serve to taste.
✅🌱 Walnuts Cheese -Vegan
The cheese with walnuts has a delicate and soft taste, excellent for use in many preparations.
Ingredients:
-70 grams of walnuts
-250 ml of soy milk
-salt
-50 ml of soy cream(vegan)
-2 teaspoons of flake food yeast
-4 tablespoons of potato starch
Preparation:
Put the milk and vegan soy cream on the stove. Pour the potato starch and mix. Bring the solution to a boil and remove from the heat. Then add the salt, walnuts and baking powder and frull the whole. We put it back on the fire for a few minutes, after which we pour our thick cream into previously greased molds.
As soon as the walnut cheese has cooled down, let's put it in the fridge for a few hours. It will tend to remain compact but soft inside, ideal to accompany your salad with bread.
