Different colors of fruits contain natural plant pigments with powerful antioxidant properties that may prevent us from various diseases.

• Red color fruits are rich in the antioxidants lycopene and anthocyanins.
• Most orange and yellow fruits are rich in beta-carotene, which our body converts to vitamin A.
• Blue and purple fruits contain anthocyanins which have powerful antioxidant property.
• White fruits like apples, pears, bananas etc are high in dietary fiber and antioxidant-rich flavonoids.

Every day we eat various fruits and fruits look more beautiful and tempting when presented in a decorative manner. Thus the idea of this contest came to my mind.

How to Participate

We kept this contest very easy so maximum no. of steemians can participate. You just have to make your Colorful Fruit Platter, take photographs and make a post with some description.

Eligibility Rules

There are no hard and strict rules but if you follow the guideline it will be helpful to run this contest successfully and you will get a chance to know varieties of Colorful Fruit Platters!

• Colorful Fruit Platter must be made of fresh fruits. Locally grown fruits will be an advantage.
• There should be minimum 2 fruits in the platter recipe. Maximum there is no limit.
• No dressing should be used.
• Just Upvote & Resteem this contest post. It is completely optional, but it will help to popularize this contest.
• While making the post, tag #ColorfulFruitPlatter is a must as one of your tags. #vegan tag is optional, but the advantage of a vegan tag is that your post will reach to targeted steemians.
• SUGGESTED TITLE OF THE POST Colorful Fruit Platter Challenge : (Name or your recipe)
• There should be at least 2 photographs in your post showing Ingredients, and final product. You can add up to 5 photographs. One photograph of fruit platter with your ID and date will be an added advantage.
