Guava Nut Bread
- ½ c. butter, softened
- ¾ c. sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 c. all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. cinnamon
- ½ c. sour cream
- 1 (6 oz.) can frozen guava juice, thawed
- ½ c. macadamia nuts, chopped
Strawberry Butter
- 1 (10 oz.) carton frozen strawberries, thawed
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Cooking Process:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously butter a 9-inch loaf pan or 2 small loaf pans.. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.Onto parchment paper; sift together dry ingredients. In a separate bowl; combine sour cream and juice. Add alternately with dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Transfer mixture into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour. Makes 1 large loaf or 2 small loaves.
Strawberry Butter
Place softened butter in mixing bowl, beat until creamy. Add thawed strawberries to butter, then add powdered sugar. Mix together. Store in refrigerator

Serve with strawberry or other fruit butter.
