A Kimchi-gigea restaurant I found out at a narrow path / Life Photography // Food in South Korea recommended for travelers
One of the most popular foods is Kimchigigea in South Korea.
The stew is also my favorite. Kimchigigea looks like very easy to make because there are only kimchi, spring onion and meat with seasoning. Boiling after pouring water in the pot looks all I have to do to make the stew. It is not easy though. The good taste doesn't come easily. I tried to make the stew a lot by myself. It is a shame that I couldn't make the good taste I expected.
The stew I made was sometimes bitter and sometimes just too spicy. That's why I usually eat Kimchigigea at a restaurant. Of course, there's not many restaurants which has a good tasty Kimchigigea. I found out the restaurant in a narrow path. The stew was very nice. The restaurant was located near office buildings. The name of the restaurant was Jong-no-sang-wheh. I can say it is a kind of antique name. Sang-sheh means store in Korean and the word became almost a dead word. The restaurant looked that exists at another time.
The restaurant was an old Korean style bar. During lunch, the restaurant sells a Kimchigigea as a main menu. Most tables were already taken at 11:30 a.m. I sat at the corner. The stew pot and the rice bowl was old. How many years were they used in the restaurant? The pot might be shared with people more than 100,000 stories.
The food and the restaurant were not fancy. I wanted to introduce for steemit one of the popular, common and real food culture. I know boiling Kimchigigea is not enough to show a Korean's soul. However, I wanted to share the feeling and a part of real Korean people's life as some of my posts.

I don't have people around me to travel to Cambodia. So, no information. I think it is not going to be too far. :) @amy-goodrich
It would be nice to come and say hello! While it is quite busy these days with work, we will have some free time later this year to travel.
hey. I have been to this restaurant. I totally love it ! thanks for the memories
I'm surprised. :) @knozaki2015 , I liked the restaurant as well. See you again.
I saw your posting well.
For Koreans, kimchi stew can be called "the truth" almost as a lunchtime menu.
I hope that foreigners can feel the true taste of Korea. ^^
You seem to mean the stew is always a good choice for a lunch. I agree with that. @sochul Thank you for sharing your opinion. See you.
What are the metal things that hang down from the ceiling in the second picture. It looks to be an air vent?
