Vegan or Non Vegan?

in #food6 years ago (edited)

To me, being vegan or non vegan, it doesn't really matter. But i am sure it does really matter to a lot of people now-a-days. Honestly I had no idea about it and I never even heard about the term vegan. It was about 2 years ago that I came across this and learnt about it. Basically vegans are those who don't eat any animal produced products (like milk, eggs, meat etc) and non-vegans are the ones who does. According to me both have their benefits, if the diet contains healthy foods.

Let's see what am i talking about. Some misconceptions.

No doubt veganism has its own benefits but that doesn't mean it is always healthier than non-vegan food. There is a real misconception that people these days are sticking to saying "Being vegan is most healthiest diet". Ahh! I doubt that.

Let's assume a person goes on a vegan diet, never touches any animal products but rather starts eating foods like veggie burgers, chips, pastas, bread, and don't forget desserts. All these aren't considered very healthy.
Whereas another person eats boiled eggs, salmon, lean meat. All these are considered high protein diet.
Which one you think will be more healthy? Of-course the second person. That's the big difference, being vegan do contains processed, unhealthy food. But here's something, if you are someone who consumes raw fruits and vegetables, yes! that is considered to be the healthiest vegan diet.

My advice! no matter you are vegan or non-vegan, just keep it healthy. That's all my point of view on this matter. I am a non-vegan. Let me know which one do you prefer?

You have a minor grammatical mistake in the following sentence:

No doubt veganism has it's own benefits but that doesn't mean it is always healthier than non-vegan food.
It should be its own instead of it's own.
