How to Cook Pastry with a Magic Wand | Traditional Food "Gözleme"
There is one thing bad about watching tv series: the food. The food they are eating enthusiastically for minutes and there is no way you can have it at the moment. Because it's 2 A.M. and you are scratching your belly in your cozy bed.
I was craving anything pastry for couple of days. My mom decided to make some today, and I thought why not share it on steemit! I also told her about Steemit and you guys, for the first time. She seemed to like the idea although she was a bit hesitant about me disclosing my face which I don't get how it will harm me in any way. (Please don't kidnap me. You will make mama sad.) I guess she never heard of FACEbook before lol!
Anyway, after some sweet words and persuasion (It was not a bribe, it is called persuasion), I took some photos to show you how to make a very simple "gözleme" -translated as Turkish Pancakes, but I dont like the term, so gözleme indeed- It's very simple!
Basically you just mix. And knead. And cook. Yes. See you on another post.

Such a great joke it was, let's see some photos.
Spoiler: It will look like this:
Roll up your sleeves, We are starting!
- Firstly, she put some salt and flour in a bowl of water, and kneaded the mixture. (hands are appreciated)
- Magical mama hands, and this dough woke up like this.
- More magic.
- While beauties are waiting, lets prepare another mix to put inside. We chop some parsley and mix it with cheese. You can put all sorts of things here! Like potatoes, different kinds of cheese, meat, spinach, or.. anything edible!
- We put the mixture in, then close and shape the dough.
- As the last step, we cook both size in a pan -no butter needed yet!-
Small note: Normally you cook this dish on a different kind of... pan..?? something panishh..? that looks like this:
(no I'm not jealous)
- And our magical pastry is ready to eat while binge-watching! Putting some butter while still hot is highly recommended!
And Voila! Hope you have a magic wand as well. See you soon!
