Crunchy Snack (Pappad)

Welcome to my post. Today I have brought the crunchy recipe that is pappad. At the beginning, I want to tell that its really time consuming. It took me 3 hours to prepare it by using following measurement of ingredients. So for me best idea was to watch movies and complete the work. But when it was ready and had it, it was worth it. From the day I made it, while having lunch or dinner, my brother says to fry pappad everytime. He loved it a lot with rice and curry. While having it, all the difficulties to prepare goes in vain. Hope you too feel the same.
It can be have alone or with any other food that adds crunchiness to the food.
Ingredients
Dehusked black lentil flour 2 cup
Gram folur 2 cup
All purpose flour 1 cup
Oil 3 tablespoon
Salt 1 tablespoon
Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
Baking powder 1 tablespoon
Chilly powder 1 tablespoon
Black Pepper crushed 1/2 tablespoon
Red Pepper crushed 1/2 tablespoon
Asafoetida 2 pinch
Water 1.5 Cup
Put crushed black and red pepper in a warm water for 5 minutes.

Mix all ingredients at once at a big bowl but put 1 tablespoon oil at side.
Knead the dough. Close the cover for half an hour. Then again knead for 15 minutes. It will be tough but you can use hard object to knead for second time.
Make it a roll and cut into small pieces.
Make it round and by using oil flatten it into very thin like transparent.
Dry it in clothes. I made in the evening and let it be dried for whole night and flipped in the morning. Then dry it in sun for 1 hour by flipping after half an hour.
Fry the pappad in oil. You can make deep fry or shallow fry.
You can stored the dried pappad for 3 months. But it won't remain once you start having it.
Wow.... it can be stored for 3 months. Great.
