Natural Food Colouring - GREEN

in #food7 years ago (edited)

Have you ever ran out of food colouring at a wrong time?

Or perhaps you'd like to make your own all natural solution without all those nasty chemicals and preservatives?
If this is the case, that's great...because today, I'd like to share with you an easy way to make your own, all natural food colouring.

Have your greens washed and place them in the blender

I use 2 cups of spinach to make few tablespoon of colouring

Chop the greens in the blender

Move them into the sieve over an empty cup
And press until no more liquid will come out

Most of the time, I use as much colouring as I make; therefore usually I don't have a spear liquid to save but if you have some you can store your green colouring in an airtight container for up to 2 days in the refrigerator.

Use it for any baking or cooking :)

Cheers!

Its very interesting and I loved it. Food coloring is so dangerous for health however its very healthy way and I want to try it. But what about taste transition ? How is it?

I can't taste it in the cookies and my kids neither :))

But that is not a food
