Ice Cream Hearts Sandwiches - made with waffle
These Ice Cream Heart shaped Waffle Sandwiches are such an easy and fun way to make a dessert. Kids will have a blast making them. Most of the time they get excited about the idea of cooking with parents so this activity should come very handy when they start to complain how bored they are and how there is nothing to do.........
Let the fun begin....!!!!
Kids not only like to create art with paint and paper.
This form of food art is educational as well plus creating it along the side of a parent creates the child parent bond :)
Start by cutting out waffle hearts with a cookie cutter....
Choose your favourite ice cream that you'd like to use and any other filling you like......
I like dark chocolate and blueberry's in there own juice....so I have to make some with these inside.. :-)
Yummmmm!!!
Double yummmmm!!!
This one is for mango Lovers !!!
Vanilla Lovers :)))
Place them in the fridge for at least 30 min or overnight.
But I doubt that your kids would agree to wait that long.... ;)
Time to Decorate!!!
Start by melting a piece of dark or milk chocolate . I used dark chocolate and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil.
You can dip the ice cream sandwiches it in the Chocolate
Or drizzle the chocolate on top of them and.....
Go wild......Kids favourite...........sprinkles!!!!
Add some fresh fruit :)
Let the summer party begin...!!!!
Enjoy!!!
