Salmon proves to be a precious ally of human health, like most of the fish on the market. The Mediterranean diet also tells us this, that diet that prefers the consumption of fish in spite of meat to live better and longer.
The reason is easy to say: fish – although not all – contains the famous omega 3, natural antioxidants that fight free radicals in our body. And salmon is an excellent and abundant source of it.
But the benefits of salmon do not stop there, because this fish also contains significant amounts of vitamins, such as A, D and B12, which are essential for the development of the skeleton and to strengthen the central nervous system, as well as eyesight.
Preparing salmon in a pan is easy and practical. This recipe includes typically Mediterranean ingredients, sweet and juicy datterini tomatoes, Taggiasca olives and capers, for a fish from the Nordic origin: a combination of flavors that makes this second course very tasty.
