I had to read it twice because of course I know frikandellen and tosti (yum!) but the combination.. never heard of it.. never seen it anywhere to be honest lol.. I absolutely miss a normal tosti like in Holland, with that fresh bread from that day tosted with good cheese and ham.. I have no clue if you have experienced the same thing, but finding the same good tasting ham and cheese is difficult. Cheese you can find at the Lidl but the hams I loved in Holland, it's a problem here lol.. These little things I miss so much.. because tosties rule!
You know where I found this??? In an indoor kids playground, crazy right!

Haha seriously? Well I can find frikandellen here at Belfrit they sure do not know how to make them as good as we Dutchies do though (too many curry or ketchup and with red onions that taste totally different) but at least I can feed my frikandellen craving every once in a while. In Spain I wanted them so bad, but once we moved here and I found them, it's so rare that I eat them lol.. But I would love to have a normal tostie as I know them from Holland.. weird how you can miss something like certain bread and things to put on your bread while they have been so normal for all these years..
Yeah eveb though i am a tremendous fan of red onions..NOT on a frikandel! Well even in the Caribbean I had a tosti machine, (but Irms took her haha) so maybe we both should look for a machine in the media markt or so

Yeah I love red onions too.. but on frikandellen it takes away the whole experience of eating a frikandel lol..
Electic devices are super expensive here.. like everything from mediamarkt.. you either buy garbage for the lowest price which is mostly still more expensive than in Holland at Mediamarkt, or you pay a lot more .. Thats why we bought a showroom model tv as that was a good deal without the box.. everything with a box was too expensive :(
