Almond Dark Chocolate Pear Cake Recipe ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ{Low Carb, Gluten Free}

Hey guys,
Are you ready for a super delicious, moist pear cake, that has some crunchy almond pieces and melted dark chocolate inside? Plus, this amazing cake is also gluten and sugar free, and low in carbohydrates!

And there's one more great feature: the batter of the cake is made in a single food processor. Therefore, this cake is very easy to prepare, just blitz together all the ingredients in your food processor or blender, when it's smooth, pour the batter into cake thins, arrange the pear slice on the top and bake your cake for 40 minutes.

If you are pear lover, like me, you will love this double pear cake! This cake has pear in its batter and has some pear slice on the top. Also, you can call this cake double almond cake as well, because the it has crunchy almond chunks in it and it's made with almond flour instead of regular wheat flour.

The cake has a very moist texture, thanks to the sweet ripe pears, with some crunchy almonds and melted chocolate chunks in it, that everyone will love.

Almond Chocolate Pear Cake


Prep time: 20 mins | Baking time:40 mins

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup whole almonds
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup sweetener or sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 ripe pears, peeled and cored
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chopped
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Let's bake this cake!

  1. Preheat the oven to 160ยฐC | 320 ยฐF. Lightly grease a springform cake thin.
  2. Place the whole almonds into the food processor. Blitz until the almonds are chopped.
  3. Add the eggs, butter and half of the pear to the food processor. Blitz until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Add the sweetener, baking powder and almond flour. Pulse until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  5. Add the chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips and gently fold them into the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Arrange the pear slices on top of the cake.
  7. Bake the cake for 40 minutes or until the inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool the cake on a wire rack before slicing.

Diet: gluten free, sugar free, low carb, vegetarian
