How to make perfect orange cake :D
this the ingredients :
250g butter
1 1/2 cups caster (superfine) sugar
4 tablespoons orange rind, from a well washed orange, finely grated
4 eggs
2 cups self-raising (self-rising) flour
200ml (5 to 6 oranges) of freshly squeezed orange juice
OK!Now how to make :
1-
Preheat the oven to 170ºC/340ºF. Prepare the cake pan by lining or greasing it. Be sure to line or grease both the base and the sides.

Place the butter, sugar and orange rind into the mixing bowl. Beat the ingredients until light and fluffy.
3-
Add the eggs to the creamed mixture. Add one at a time and mix through.
4-
Sift the flour. Fold it into the mixture.
5-
Add the orange juice. Stir through to form the batter.
6-
Transfer the batter to the prepared cake pan. Use the back of a spoon or a spatula to smooth the top of the cake batter.
7-
Place in the oven to bake for 70 minutes. Test for readiness by piercing with a skewer; if it comes out clean, the cake is ready.
8-
Remove the cake from the oven. Allow to rest in the pan for 10 minutes. Turn out onto a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
9-
Frost/ice the cake when it is cooled. This can be made with orange juice for flavor.
