I recently tried the newly opened Chinese eatery, @houseofchinese, and must say it offers a refreshingly authentic take on the Chinese cuisine

The super crispy Chinese Chicken Tempuras were fried to perfection. The batter consistency was on point given the tempuras a thin fried crust. Paired with the Asian style Peanut Satay sauce, this was one great appetizer

Now we've all had Chicken with Cashew Nuts at one point or the other which at some places is nothing more than a few pieces of chicken & cashew nuts in a lumpy sweet and sour sauce but not here! The contrast between the capsicum, roasted cashews and the tender stir-fried chicken in garlic sauce was nearly impeccable!

The Szechuan Chicken was another dish that was packed with flavour! Full of caramelized onions and with the heat from the rep peppers being added to the sauce, it's a treat for your palate

If you need another reason to give this place a try, their Iftar Buffet Dinner will also be full of authentic Oriental flavours
