Weekend in Disney World | Epcot International Art Festival

Living just a few hour from Orlando, FL, my husband and I go to Disney World a couple of times a year. We especially love to go to Epcot because of all the international food options. It definitely doesn't beat real international travel, but nonetheless, it's lots of fun.

Most recently, we went to Epcot for the International Art Festival. Besides featuring visiting artist from all over the U.S., there were also tons of art-inspired food options. Here are a few photos from our visit.

Charcuterie Board

I LOVE charcuterie and this board was no exception. It had serrano ham, paté and several different cheeses served with bread, along with a drizzle of honey and balsamic. Yum, yum!

Scallop

So I'll admit that I'm not normally a fan of scallops. It's really easy to overcook them, leaving them tasting hard and chewy. But when we kept hearing people talk about the scallop at this festival, we decided to give it a try. Oh boy, it was good. Perfectly cooked, served with bacon, peppers and a romesco sauce.

Tuna and Salmon Sashimi

Hands-down my favorite plate at the festival. Not only was it beautiful, it was fresh, light and full of flavor. Nothing beats tuna and salmon sashimi. Plus, this one was served on an orange slice that was topped with white rice and seaweed with a tapioca pearl and fruit pudding on the side.

Avocado Margarita

Available year-round at Epcot inside the Mexico pavilion. It's the best margarita they have in the entire theme park. Trust me.

February is the perfect time to visit Disney World. It's warm and sunny without being too hot and humid.
