During my 3-day stay in Guiyang, I indulged in 22 meals...
Social Beef Noodle: Located at No. 6, Hongshi Street, Fushui North Road. This newly opened beef and offal noodle joint serves delicious fare, and their stinky tofu is a must-try!
Auntie Mao's Glutinous Rice: Found at No. 138, Shahe Street. These rice balls, infused with chili, sugar, and crispy bits, boast distinct grains, a sweet and spicy flavor, and aromatic oil.
Xiaoping's Spicy Vegetarian Noodles: Situated at Building 2-1-4, Guishanyuan, Provincial Government Road. Their minced meat noodles are smooth and packed with meaty goodness!
Anshun Xiao Shu Ice Noodles: Located at Unit 1, 1st Floor, Building 1, No. 2, Zhengyi Road. The mango and cucumber ice noodles are incredibly refreshing, especially with added glutinous rice, though the wait in line can be quite long.
Heji 1994 Ice Noodles: Situated at No. 62, Fushui Middle Road, Yuda Building. The milk and black glutinous rice ice noodles, though finely blended, resemble porridge and are just average.
Chen's Family Bean Rice Hot Pot: Found at Hengfeng Pedestrian Street. This hot pot meal, priced at just over seventy, boasts generous servings of cured meat and complimentary vegetables—worth a try!
Yang Hu Zi Barbecue: Located at No. 128-4, Ruijin North Road. This barbecue stall, open only at noon, offers delicious pork belly and beef skewers, albeit in a mediocre environment.
Yilao Guo: Situated at No. 5, Yanwu Street. This pot, priced at just over seventy, is more than enough for two people. I especially loved the fragrant and soft glutinous potato cakes and the tasty tofu skin!
Yuniang Crispy Potato Cake: Found at No. 1, Zhengxin Street. These crispy potato cakes are fried to perfection, fragrant, and can be customized with extra toppings!
If there's no queue, you can try Man Tou!
Jiang Family Sausage Noodle House: Located at No. 60, Huancheng North Road, City of Light. Their thin yellow noodles come with crispy bits, large intestine, bean sprouts, duck blood, and tofu pudding.
Zhi Gun Tea Food: Situated at No. 2, Wenchang North Road. Their black sesame tea pudding and chocolate cake pair well with tea!
Southwest Great Tree: Found at Unit 1, Block A, Sunshine 100 Community. While the decor is cozy and photo-worthy, the cake flavors are mediocre.
Unnamed Bean Curd and Rice: Located at No. 77-106, Putuo Road. Bean curd with meat dices in dipping sauce, featuring tender bean curd and a soy milk-like broth.
Gui Wusheng Dry Pot Beef: Situated at No. 8, Yujia Lane, Putuo Road Street. A large pot of dry pot beef for only 70 yuan, with ample beef and delicious seasoning, perfect for a satisfying meal!
Yuji Anshun Special Crispy Pastry: Found at the intersection of Minsheng Road and Guishan Street. The Three Delights pastry features red bean paste and meat filling, while the "Introducer" pastry comprises white sugar and crushed peanuts—both offering a sweet-savory taste!
Danjia Brown Sugar Bowl Cake: Their brown sugar steamed cakes are sold by weight, and although I only bought a small amount, they were fragrant, sweet, and fluffy, quite satisfying.
Liuguangmen Spicy Chicken Noodles: The chicken is spicy and a bit tough, and the dish is a bit oily.
Guichu Sour Soup Beef: Sour and spicy, appetizing, and priced at only 70 yuan.
Laoguiyang All Beef Noodle: Choose between sour or thin noodles—I tried the beef and tendon with thin noodles, and the tendon was soft and chewy.
Laowu Chicken Shredded Bean Curd Noodles: The taste is similar to the sausage and tripe noodles.
It sounds like you had quite the culinary adventure in Guiyang!
