THE 6TH STEEMGIGS RADIO TALK SHOW WITH @surpassinggoogle : #FOMOMO - "FEAR OF MISSING OUT IS MISSING OUT" ITSELF
It was another great moment with @surpassinggoogle in the steemgigs discord channel. It was the 6th Radio Talk Show and I couldn't miss it for anything. Prior to the show , @mermaidvampire had a short briefing about "what Steemgigs/Ulog is all about and who is Terry on Steemit." That was well explained by Karen.
Everything about him summed up to One word -- Inspiration.
Each Discord session we learn more things. We share and celebrate the Uloggers who join. Their stories becoming the way for us to become their true fans as they reach true celebrityhood.
In each talk show, we usually have a tag to go with that day. In the last talk show, the tag we used was #mermaidvampire. Terry used this as a way of celebrating Karen as a true celebrity. In this wise, @surpassinggoogle gave us the tag #FOMOMO. You may be wondering what this means. But not to worry, I'll put you through. It means:
FEAR OF MISSING OUT = MISSING OUT!! -- FOMOMO
This implies that if you have too much fear of missing out, you will eventually miss out.
The 6th Steemgigs discord talkshow recorded a reasonable increase in attendance. Seeing over 70 steemians hanging around on steemgigs discord voice channel is not something that can be overlooked easily. It means that @surpassinggoogle is really doing a great and remarkable work.
Here is highlight of yesterday's talkshow (these were said by Terry):
The first few minutes of the show, Terry @surpassinggoogle discussed about "The future of Steemit And It's Relation To Us". Below are the points I noted:
Steemit is Genius
Steemit is Organic
Steemit is the Dream within the vision, providing a pathway to the Steem Blockchain
Steem is not Money : Money should seek you; this leads to each and everyone attaining the most awesome version of ourselves. Curation doesn't necessarily mean an upvote. A resteem could go a long way.
It's something Grand. Out of the boxness. There's a grand picture. The generations unborn.

When you see things that I do on steemit, I broke down to produce it. Many of those things that I put into it are not from books. There's a grand picture, this isn't only for the present generation, but for the generations unborn.
My YouTube is not to promote steem, it is more like rural brigade, where I attend to many people. So I am trying to talk to many people as possible. My present movement into YouTube is something Grand. Out of the boxness. YouTube will help spread the Inspiration. Dedicated to answering questions, even the unasked ones. Be stunty, you have to site on people's post and entertain people, create engagement. This is part of rural brigade.
There is a timelines to the YouTube videos, Terry try to motivate everyone at the right time. He will open your eyes to what is inside you, so you can rediscover yourself. People want answers to question, things that bother them. These are raw knowledge, not like the ones from the books.
There is so much power in simple things, because the whole world is not looking at simple things, they are looking for answers in the outer space.
Humours have element of deep truth.
Pay attention to steemit page, pay attention to the vote buttons, brainstorm on it. Maybe you will realise that steem is not money, there are bigger pictures than money. Do not allow earnings to limit your freedom. Let freedom enter into your game, if it does, you will soar. You will not only soar, you will fly.

The ever missing puzzle in your life might be solve by paying attention to what a mad man is doing on the street. You just need to observe. In casual conversation, what you have been seeking for may be there.
Never underestimate minnows' resteem, there are minnows who resteem posts for whale to upvote. Some would see great content, then take it to whales to vote. When you get resteem from a minnow, whether you get upvoted or not, be thankful to them. Resteem is a show of love here on steemit.
The highlight of the show however, was the "Karaoke Time With Terry." Gosh, there are so many talents on Steemit. A couple of friends rendered songs but the room's mood changed into a real "Steemgig Show" when Terry, @surpassinggoogle started to sing. He's not only a good life coach but a great singer as well. And yes, I mean it.
@edprivat and @darrenclaxton continued to make the show alive. I swear to God, these guys are extremely talented. You should hear them sing. They would definitely rock your worlds. I was in "awe moment" listening to them sing. Oh, I am happy meeting them on Steemgigs. Many thanks to @maverickinvictus, I think he was the one who invited them to the show.
@alzamma also did his gig and dedicate his song to @sn0white . It was a song from the Quran if I am not mistaken.
@Quochuy(witness) was live too and singing his version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow." He has a very calm voice. Next was @josediccus and was actually the grand finale singer . He did a couple of songs from ballad, to rap to diva. What a talented guy! I can say, I really had a great time.
My Lessons:
The Steemit platform is not all about money. When you understand this, your success comes more. Money is only a bonus you get for being creative on this platform. Steemit is totally beyond money. If the price of steem is $0.07 will you still steem blog? If your answer is yes then you got the idea. If you are worth something, then money will come your way. To make it on steemit you need to attract steemians to your blog. To do that you must be creative and interactive to comments and post. Minnows are whales inside, a minnow upvote can bring your post to visibility. Don't undermine the power of a minnow.
