TULIPS
tulips were cultivated during the Ottoman Empire (Turkey), and then entered the Netherlands in the sixteenth century. After Carolus Clusius wrote the tulip-themed tulip book in 1592, the tulips became very popular, causing the flower gardens to be attacked and the seeds of her tulips stolen regularly. Along with the development of the Dutch Golden Age, so are these round and colorful flowers. Tulip flowers become the object of paintings and festivals are popular. In the mid-seventeenth century, tulips became so popular that it caused the first economic shock, known as Tulip Mania (tulipomania). The large number of people who buy tulips has caused the price of tulips to be very expensive, to the extent that the tulips serve as money, until the tulip flower market eventually declines.
