Global temperatures are rising day by day and hence flowers all across the world releasing less scent.

Why scent for flowers is very important??

I think many of us know what is pollination. Pollination is the process of transferring pollen from anthers of one flower to the stigma of the same flower or another flower. Pollination helps in fertilization. Pollination results in development of seeds then to flowers.

Now for this pollination to occur plants attracts insects with scents and juices. The pollen grain stick to the legs of insects and gets transferred from one flower to another flower. Although pollination occurs through it is very less as it depends on nature .

The plant fragrances are decreasing because of pollution which is increasing pollution thereby increasing temperatures. This is resulting in extinction of certain species of plants.
