Aaron's Rod
Aaron's Rod is an annual plant with deep blue stalkless flowers attached to a long, narrow spikes. What seems like a useless weed is an eccentric herb. I haven't heard of this plant used as herbal remedy. I can't say that I was that surprised, but it was more than what I'd thought of those cute little flowers. If it were not for the fact that it is in the book of Amazing Healing Plants by JC Kurian, Ph.D. in Medical Anthropology from Thailand.
The extracted juice from the crushed leaves for instance can be applied externally to cure ulcers and used over the eyes for general opthalmic problems.

The rod of Aaron was a wooden stick. It was crafted with the intent of bearing fruit. It was to remind the children of Israel of the power of God's priesthood. It was also to be preserved as a museum piece.
Among the many miracles performed by Aaron was the miracle of the rod. It was created by the reading of the Ineffable Name of God.
