Glorious Aloe Bees!

Hey everyone, as far as aloes go we have some very pretty ones on the property and quiet rare too. These are "hybrid" aloes my landlord purchased a few years ago which he assures me are extremely special.

What makes these so special are their hybridized cross breeding done at some specialist nurseries.

Yellow Aloes in the wild are very uncommon these are truly spectacular and it would appear that the bees agree they love the nectar as well as pollen that these incredible succulents render.

Can you spot the bee??

Aloes area seasonal and flower only at the beginning to mid winter and once a year, which is quiet sad as they are a rich valuable source of food for the bees and one of the rare flowers that render both nectar and pollen .
