Flowers - to buy or not to buy?

They might not last more than a few days or as long as some other gifts you might purchase for someone but, if they can make one person smile, albeit for a while, then why not? 😊
I wasn't expecting these today at all, it wasn't my birthday, I didn't have friends visiting... So when I received this lovely bunch at work, I was delighted...
